This is an 8-day tour suitable for who like to explore as much as they can, to relax, enjoy and make the best out of their vacation. It allows you to discover several touristic places in Jordan from its' capital, Amman to Um Qais, Jerash, AjlounDesert Castles of Amra, Kharaneh, Azraq and Halabat). You will also be given the chance to discover Mount Nebo and Madaba as for famous Christian religious sites as well as covering yourself with Dead Sea's mud then taking a swim in it. to the different

But that's not it yet, we will also be arranging for your visit in one of the World's Seven Wonders-Petra and even a camping adventure under Wadi Rum's fascinating sky to check out the life of Bedouins yourself. You will also have the time to dive in the Red Sea by visiting Aqaba and simply enjoying the sun, diving, swimming or even snorkeling!

 

Day 1: Queen Alia Airport – Amman overnight:

Upon arrival to Queen Alia Airport our representative will meet and assist you through the customs and immigration procedures. Transfer to the hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 2: Amman – Umm Qais – Jerash – Ajloun – Amman overnight:

In the morning departure we drive around two hours from Amman to Gadara (Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous decapolis found by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. Here you have an overwhelming view over the north Jordan valley, the Sea of Galilee and the Golan heights. In the noon we leave to Jerash, the best example of a roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. After lunch you visit the spectacular forum, roman colonnaded street, nymphaeum, Artemis temple, St. Cosmos and Demeanors church. Next stop is Ajloun the great 12th century Islamic castle build around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader Salah al-Din. Around evening we drive back to Amman overnight.

Day 3: Amman- Desert Castles (Amra-Kharanah-Azraq-Halabat) – Amman overnight :

After breakfast, go for Amman city tour to visit the Roman Amphitheater and the Citadel, then drive to Desert Castles to visit three surprising examples of Islamic art and architecture: Azraq Fort, Qusayr Amra, and Qasr Kharaneh. Back to hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 4: Amman – Mt. Nebo – Madaba – Dead Sea - King’s Highway  – Petra overnight :

After breakfast, drive to the lowest point on Earth the Dead Sea, enjoy swimming in the buoyant waters and get covered in mud. Then, to Mount Nebo is the place where Moses looked over the Holy Land and the Dead Sea. Then to visit Madaba, which is famous for the unique mosaic map of the Holy Land, which can be found in Saint Geroge’s church floor.

Drive to the hotel in Petra for overnight.

Day 5: Petra – Wadi Rum:

After breakfast departure for a full day tour to the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended into Syria. After the conquest by the Romans 106 AD Petra declined in importance thereafter. In the early 19th century the Swiss explorer Johann L. Burckhardt discovered the city again.

Upon arrival you will begin an unforgettable trip on horse back to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then by foot to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. The local guide will give a brief history of the city. Among other monuments you will see are Pharaoh's Castle, the Triumphal Arch, the Amphitheater and the Monastery „El Deir“. The., drive to wadi rum for dinner and camping .

Day 6: Wadi Rum – Aqaba overnight :

After breakfast in Wadi Rum, the wild desert landscape, which already fascinated the British liaison officer Lawrence of Arabia. You start a two hour Bedouin Jeep tour which leads you to Lawrence's Spring and to the sand dunes in Wadi Um Ishrin where you can find Nabatean inscriptions. You will have a great view from Lawrence's House and drive to the Barragh Canyon. Then drive to Aqaba for overnight.

Day 7: Aqaba – Amman overnight:

Jordan's only city at the sea is Aqaba. The splendid weather during more than eight months of the year allows you here to enjoy sailing, water skiing and swimming. Diving and snorkeling is a great adventure, as you spot the colorful and varied marine life in the Red Sea. Late afternoon drive to the hotel in Amman for overnight.

 Day 8: Amman – QAI Airport :

After breakfast assisted transfer to QAI Airport for departure
